Euryale’s Laboratory
“Surely each realm is but a vapor”
“In spite of such sin, will they escape the anger she casts down upon nations?”
Euryale paced back and forth in her laboratory, her anger growing with each step. How could they have dared to sin against her? She had cast down her wrath upon them, and still they persisted.
Suddenly, a bright light filled the room, and three figures appeared before her. “You will pay for your transgressions!” she shouted at them.
The figures didn’t seem afraid. In fact, they looked almost excited. “We’re not afraid of you, Euryale!” one of them shouted back.
Euryale raised her hand to cast a spell at them, but before she could utter a word, the door to the laboratory burst open and several guards rushed in. “My Queen!” one of them cried out. “Please, we beg of you – spare us!”
Euryale hesitated for a moment, then lowered her hand. She couldn’t destroy her own people – not yet anyway. “Fine,” she said grudgingly. “But I will punish you all nonetheless. You will be my slaves for eternity!”
