Borji’toga the Unformed
“Bring healing to my body, and refreshment to my bones”
“But do not loathe her rebuke”
In the land of Borji’toga, there is a river that flows with healing waters. It is said that any who drink from its banks will be healed of their wounds and refreshed in their bones.
The river is guarded by a spirit known as Borji’toga the Unformed. She is a fearsome creature, but those who approach her with respect are often rewarded with her healing touch.
One day, a young girl ventured to the banks of the river to ask for its healing power. But instead of being healed, she was rebuked by Borji’toga. The spirit told her that she was not worthy of its power and drove her away from the river's banks.
The young girl was heartbroken, but she knew that she had to find a way to earn Borji’toga's forgiveness if she ever hoped to be healed. She returned home and began to pray for guidance.
After many weeks of prayer, the girl received a vision in which Borji’toga told her how she could be forgiven. She instructed the girl to go into the forest and gather three stones: one white, one black, and one red.
The girl followed Borji’toga's instructions and gathered the three stones. Then she took them back to the riverbank and placed them at the feet of the spirit statue. As soon as she did this, Borji’toga's eyes opened and she spoke once more: "You have brought me these stones as an offering of repentance. I forgive you for your past transgressions and grant you my blessing." With those words, the girl's wounds were healed and refreshing energy flowed through her body, restoring her strength anew.
