Princess Huletai, Consort Chagashir’in
“Walk in the way of understanding”
“The stolen water is sweet”
Princess Huletai, Consort Chagashir’in had always been a curious woman. She was never satisfied with what she was told, instead always seeking to find out the truth for herself. This led her to many discoveries, both great and small. But it was also what led her to the greatest discovery of all – the theft of sweet water from the sacred wellspring.
Princess Huletai knew that if she were to find out who had stolen the water, she would have to walk in the way of understanding. So she disguised herself as a commoner and set out into the city streets. It didn’t take long for her to find out who had stolen the water – it was none other than her own husband, Consort Chagashir’in.
When Princess Huletai confronted him about it, he confessed that he had done it because he loved her and wanted to make her happy. He thought that by giving her sweet water instead of regular water, she would be happier than ever before. Princess Huletai was touched by his gesture and they lived happily ever after.
As the princess of a small, insignificant kingdom, Huletai had always been aware that she would never amount to much. But she was content in her role as consort to Chagashir’in, the warlord of a powerful empire. She knew her place in the world and was happy to serve her husband and his people.
But when Huletai learned that the water from her homeland was being stolen and sold on the black market, she knew she had to take action. She must find out who is responsible and bring them to justice.
Huletai sets out on a dangerous journey across the empire, seeking answers. She must face danger at every turn, but she will not be deterred. She knows what is at stake – if she doesn’t find out who is behind the theft, her people may lose their homes forever.
