The Rhadamanthine Monastery

“On the day the keepers of the house tremble”

“Remember her before the silver cord is snapped and the golden bowl is crushed”

The keepers of the Rhadamanthine Monastery tremble on the day that the Oracle is due to return. They know that she will be angry, and they fear what she will do when she arrives.

They remember the last time she was here. She was young then, and still full of anger and vengeance. She had demanded that they give her the golden bowl, which held all of the monastery's secrets. But they refused, knowing that it would be a disaster if she ever got her hands on it.

The Oracle was furious. She lashed out at the monks, accusing them of betrayal. She vowed to destroy the monastery and everyone in it.

And then she disappeared into the night. The monks thought they had seen the last of her. But now she's back, and they know that she means business this time around.
