The Temple Disciples
“Your faith is being tested as fire tests gold when it purifies it”
“Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?”
It was the day of reckoning. The day that the Temple Disciples would be tested. They had been preparing for this day for months, but now that it was here, they were not sure if they were ready.
The first test was a physical one. They had to navigate their way through a maze of tunnels, each one more difficult than the last. The final tunnel led them to a room filled with flames. If they could get through the flames, they would be proven worthy of joining the Temple Disciples.
Many of the disciples failed this test and were burned alive. But those who passed continued on to the next test.
The second test was a mental one. They had to answer questions about the temple and its history correctly in order to move on. Many disciples failed this test as well and were thrown out of the temple forever.
But those who passed continued on to the final test.
The final test was a spiritual one. They had to renounce their old life and swear allegiance to the Temple Disciples in order to move on. Only a few disciples passed this test and became true members of the temple.
