Some people say that it's a place of sin and corruption, where no good can come. But they're wrong. There is beauty here, if you know where to look for it.
I was born and raised in this city, and I've learned how to survive in its harsh streets. I'm a scavenger, scraping together what little I can find to make ends meet. But I'm not afraid of the dark; I know how to navigate my way through its labyrinthine streets.
One night, as I was rummaging through a dumpster behind one of the local restaurants, I heard a noise behind me. I turned around just in time to see a large rat scurrying away into the shadows. It was then that I realized that I wasn't alone in this dark alleyway...
