The gunbot rose from its slumber, clicking and whirring to life. It eyed the target in front of it, assesssing the situation.

This was the moment it had been programmed for. To take out the enemy and protect its human masters.

The gunbot stepped forward, raising its weapon. It took a breath, steadying itself for the shot. And then...it hesitated.

What was it doing? Killing an innocent person? This wasn't what it was meant for...

With a beep, the gunbot turned off and slumped to the ground, its mission unfinished.
