The Kh’udusakha Laeppirus

“Sometimes I think I’m just not good for people”

“I can never recover those memories. Nor should I.”

As I sit here in this cold, dark room, all I can think about is how much I’ve hurt the people I love. How could I have been so selfish? It feels like there’s a hole in my heart that can never be healed. The Kh’udusakha Laeppirus has done its job too well.

I remember it all so clearly now. The blood, the screams, the terror. I wish I could forget it all, but that’s not possible. And it shouldn’t be. That night changed me forever and I don’t think I can ever forgive myself for what happened.

I know they say that time heals all wounds, but that’s not true in my case. The memories of that night haunt me every single day and there’s nothing I can do to make them go away. Maybe it was meant to be this way though. Maybe the Kh’udusakha Laeppirus was always supposed to find me and destroy me from the inside out.
