There’s Blood In The Water

“How is it possible to feel nostalgia for a world I never knew?”

“To survive, you’ve got to forget”

It’s strange, the things you can miss when you don’t even remember them. I never knew my parents, but sometimes I find myself longing for their company. For a life that was never mine.

I was born into a world at war. We were constantly on the move, always one step ahead of the enemy. Our lives were a series of battles – against hunger, disease, and other survivors. The only thing that kept us going was our hope for a better future. A future we never got to see.

We finally found safety in a small colony on the edge of the ocean. But it was short-lived. One day, out of nowhere, they came – the ones who killed my family and took everything from me. I fled into the water with nothing but my knife and determination to survive.

Now I live by one rule: There’s Blood In The Water. To survive, you’ve got to forget your past – including the people you loved and lost. Because if you remember them…they will find you again.
